  • ½ teaspoon common salt
  • Soak the matta rice in cold water for 10 minutes. Bleed, rinse well and ready bated.

  • Add the rice, water and salt to the pot and mix well.

  • Secure the chapeau, close the pressure level valve and cook for 10 minutes at high pressure.

  • Naturally release pressure level for ten minutes, then open up the valve to release any remaining pressure.

  • Drain whatsoever h2o from the pot (there may non be whatever) and then give the rice a quick rinse to remove excess starch (you don't have to practise this, but I do).

  • Serve with a tasty back-scratch from my blog! 😉

*Technically, you tin can use more water than I suggest to melt the rice since yous're going to drain/rinse it off at the end anyway, however I suggest using 2 cups of water because that way the Instant Pot doesn't take as well long to reach pressure.
