The area north of Mt. Fuji contains several lakes and is called the Fuji Five Lakes surface area. The lakes are specifically Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Yamanakako, Shojiko and Motosuko and they afford the best views of Fuji including many of those seen in magazines and advert. Therefore I would strongly urge any visitor to Japan to include a visit during their trip. The biggest lake is Kawaguchiko and that area has a town and many things to see and do besides as several splendid hotels, some with hot spa's. One can really driver around Fuji start at places like Mishima which is a station on the main Tokyo to Osaka shinkansen line, and rent a car as we usually do to drive up the due east side of Fuji, round the summit and downward the west side. This can be washed in a day, but I"d recommend spending at least one of 2 days to explore the area every bit there are truly some wonderful places to visit.

Complimentary to enter. Nosotros rented bikes at very reasonable rate (200 yen for ii hours) at the archway and helped to movement effectually, which saved our energy for walking up to various higher grounds for almost mannerly views around. We enjoyed the fifteen minutes fountain show. Check the schedule at the bicycle shop.

Went on a cloudy day with light drizzle. Spent almost an hour walking around the expanse. In that location is a chair lift and monorail to bring passengers up the mountain to see the view. You lot need to curve betwixt your leg for an unique view.. a small entertainment park at the summit of the mountain. Would like to have spent more than time rent a bicycle to ride along the pino trees...

I experience that I am in a wonder state. I went at that place twice during my stay in Ishigaki Island. There are many bus routes coming to Kabira bay from Double-decker Terminal and the schedule is pretty frequent. There are shops, restaurants, view bespeak, remainder room and many more. Very convenient and condom place for solo traveler :)

You can walk,up and downwardly the pass, by the seashore, beautiful cliffs and wooded surface area. Also, suspension bridges,over the coast, observing Ohshima - in Japanese,means a big isle - and a nice lite-business firm that enables you to view mountain side of the area, including Mountain Omuro.. Very overnice and comforting to roam, looking at the ocean out at that place and listening to the birds.

We visited this embankment off season in Apr, when information technology was around 21 degrees and too common cold to swim in. All the same, we had a nice walk along the beach and enjoyed a picnic at that place, watching the surfers and enjoying the quiet. The h2o is very articulate and the scenery cute. There is also an impressive temple nearby (on the side of the torii gate) that you can visit. I didn't think that the beach was dirty - yes, there were a few $.25 of plastic waste in the sand, but it didn't strike me as 'a lot' of trash. Fifty-fifty if the beach is cleaned every day, sadly, some trash will be carried to the beach from the ocean every twenty-four hour period due to our over-consumption and apply of plastic... It's also very user-friendly that yous can quickly reach the beach by bus from Izukyu-Shimoda station or Shimoda marina. Only opposite, there is a Family Mart and a few cafes and restaurants.

Lake Kawaguchiko is one the the Mt Fuji 5 Lakes. It's very convenient to travel from Tokyo by train, highly suggested to get a Tokyo pass and reserve the seat. Also, it's highly recommended to rent a wheel, the best way to travel around the Lake. There are many squeamish cafes and restaurant effectually the Lake area.

Two routes available. An elevated footpath takes the company on a 1.6km out-and-back walk to Lake Ichiko. It is free and no special footwear is required. The route provides stunning views of the Shiretoko mountain range. Electric fences surround the walkway, to keep the bears away The 2nd road of 3km round trip starts on the basis and joins the elevated walkway towards the end. Entry fee costs 5000 yen from ten May to 31 July, but drops to only 250 yen from ane August to 20 October. Visitors are required to register and nourish a 10-minute briefing on safety precautions, including action to accept in the event of a deport encounter. Ground conditions are classified on a calibration of 1 to 3, with iii being muddied and mucilage boots required, but mucilage boots are still highly recommended for status 2. You lot'll need to program in advance, as the gum boots can merely exist hired for 500 yen at the Shiretoko Nature Center, which is located 9km away before yous get to Shiretoko V Lakes. Parking at 500 yen per car, and toilets bachelor. Pleasant walk through nature with lovely views of the lakes and mount ranges. Best to keep a sunny twenty-four hour period, equally rain will obscure the view of the surrounding mountains.

Nosotros decided to stop at Toya during our trip from Sapporo to Hakodate. Toya is around 2 hours from Sapporo. From Toya Station, we took the omnibus to Lake Toya, you can purchased the return bus ticket inside the train station. Nosotros got off at the Lake Toya Tourism Centre, and the lake is just in front of the edifice, it is very beautiful blue lake, information technology was snowing so hard when we arrived. fantabulous photograph spot!!!
